Kids Jiu Jitsu in Hollywood for ages 5 to 12.
Young Warriors builds confidence, discipline, focus and real self-defense in a safe, structured class. Your child’s first week is free.
Built for kids. Run with discipline.
Classes are structured and calm. Kids are grouped by age, size and experience level so partners are a fair match, and every child is coached as an individual.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has no striking. Kids learn to control a position, escape from underneath, and get a bigger opponent off them safely. It is self-defense that works, and it builds real confidence on and off the mat.

What a class looks like.
Every Young Warriors class follows the same five steps, so kids know what's coming and settle faster.
- 1
Bow in
Kids line up, bow to the instructor and each other, and the room settles.
- 2
Warm up
Running, shrimping, break-falls and animal movements. Fun, but it's the base of everything.
- 3
One technique
The instructor shows a single move, step by step, and checks each kid.
- 4
Drill with a partner
Partners are matched by size. Repetition builds the habit, not just the memory.
- 5
Play or roll
A game for the younger kids, or supervised live rounds for the older ones. Then bow out.

Parent FAQ.
What age can my child start?
Kids can start at 5. The Young Warriors program runs through age 12, and at 13 they move up to train with the adults.
Will my child be paired with much bigger kids?
No. Kids are grouped by age, size, and experience level so partners are a fair match and the room stays calm and safe.
Does my kid need a gi for the first class?
Not for the free week. Send them in a t-shirt and athletic shorts, no zippers or pockets. If they continue, we'll help you get a gi.
Is it safe? Do the kids spar?
Classes are technique first. Any live training is supervised, matched by size, and starts from positions the kids already know. Striking is not part of the kids Jiu Jitsu program.
Can I watch the class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to watch from the lobby, and it's the best way to see how your child does before deciding.
How do I sign up for a free class?
