Rollyson Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was built on a simple idea: bring the real, unfiltered art of Carlson Gracie jiu-jitsu to Hollywood, Florida, and teach it to anyone willing to step on the mat.

In 2007, Megan and Master Carlos Rollyson opened the doors on Hollywood Blvd. Carlos brought four decades of experience and a black belt earned directly from Carlson Gracie Sr. Together they built something rare: an academy where world-class Jiu Jitsu is taught with a family atmosphere.
Today, members of every age and background train side by side. Kids find confidence in the Young Warriors program, adults learn self-defense and get in the best shape of their lives, and competitors sharpen their game for the podium.

From a child in the mountains of Teresópolis to one of the highest-ranked coral belts in the country.
- Age 7
Carlos is introduced to Jiu Jitsu by his father in Teresópolis, Brazil.
- Age 10
He begins formal training under Grandmaster Carlson Gracie Sr., at Carlson's first school in Teresópolis.

Earns his Judo black belt under Takise Ueda at 18 years old.
- 1982
Awarded his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt directly by Carlson Gracie Sr.
- 2007
Carlos and Megan open Rollyson Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Hollywood, Florida.
- 2019
Megan becomes the first woman promoted to black belt under Master Rollyson.
- 2020
Carlos receives his 8th-degree red and white coral belt from the IBJJF, one of six in the U.S.
